What are the Reservations requirements to reserve my Wedding or Event date?

Retainer deposit of 50% of the venue Donation in cash or check only.
Please refer to our statement of faith and related ministry documents.

What are the due dates for the Venue Reservation?

The Venue Donation Balance & Security deposit are due 4 months prior to the event date.
Event Insurance and the Event Detail form due 30 days prior to event date.
 Preferred vendors collect a small deposit and require the balance days prior to the event date.

What does the Venue Contribution cover?

Sprawling 2.27 Acre Estate with country elegance featuring flexible options for set up.
 Grade A Kentucky Style Barn for Reception, Cocktail hour or Ceremony up to 200 guests.
 21 outdoor areas for Ceremony & Cocktail locations.
 5 Reception Locations.
Barn Stalls for bartender, photo booth set ups.
Exterior Venue access for Vendors from 8am to 12pm.
Interior Venue access for Bridal party 3hrs prior to ceremony.
Bridal Suite, Groom Room, Guest parlor & restrooms, Vendor Room with fridge.
Storage space available in barn if needed.
Exterior Stage, electrical outlets, surround & bistro lighting, disposal receptacles.
Parking for 75+ vehicles, limo access, shuttles & taxis are welcome.

Is there a refund policy?

Venue Retainer Deposits are non-refundable.
Date Transfers will be honored with a minimum of 6 months notice.
50% refund of the Venue Deposit honored for the death of the bride or groom.

Can I chose outside Event Vendors?

Parties may opt to contract with outside Floral, Photography, Photobooth and Videography sources or chose to contract with the Venue Preferred Vendors for these services who offer quality, affordability and reliability.

How many guests can be accommodated in the Venue areas?

Legends Ranch entertains up to 150 guests for a Reception and up to 200 guests for a Ceremony.

Can the Venue be rented to rehearse prior to my event?

If the venue remains available prior to your event, parties can rehearse for $100 per hour donation.

What type of Venue lighting is available?

The Venue offers surround lighting and Bistro lighting is a fixed feature in the Sunken Courtyard.
The upper ranch commons area will require bistro lighting if used for a reception location.

What time does the music have to end?

Music must stop at 9:30pm.  All guests are to be vacated by 10pm.

Are there Musical restrictions on what types of music can be played?

Cultural music genres are welcome. Foul language, elicit content/context, "edited versions", Rap or heavy metal are not allowed.

Is the Venue handicap accessible?

The exterior venue offers a ramp for wheelchair accessibility to access the sunken courtyard.

Are children welcome and are they considered in the guest count?

Children are welcome and considered in the guest count if they can walk.

Do parties need to purchase their own Event Insurance?

1 million policy for general liability event insurance with host liquor liability if hosting a bar.
The policy could cover liability arising from occurrences such as injury, damage to property, lost wedding rings, sudden illness.
Our vendor, The Event Helper offers online quotes, the insurance certificate will be emailed to the venue once purchased.

We Strongly Suggest Cancellation Coverage, or "Wedding Insurance" which can be purchased 1yr out.

Is a Day coordinator or planner necessary to plan a event at the Venue?

A Day of Coordinator or Planner is required and must be chosen from our Preferred Vendor list.
The Venue Coordinators and Planners prepares an event timeline, designs your day and oversees set up & breakdown.

What about inclimate weather?

Our Barn is available for an indoor event and tents are welcome for inclimate weather predictions.

Can an open fire pit be used for ambiance?

The Upper Ranch Commons is an ideal location for a Fire Pit.  Legends Ranch offers a Cowboy Cauldron and firewood at no charge.

Are candles or open flames allowed?

Candles are welcome if the flame is within 3″ below the container.  Electric LED are ideal in or around floral centerpieces.

Is confetti and other party favors allowed?

Rice, confetti and pyrotechnics are NOT allowed, but streamers and sparklers are a great alternative!  The Venue Pool can be accented with floating candles or inflatable lanterns etc.
